First Anniversary Celebration of Wired New York Meetup Group was this Sunday. Members of the group visited Williamsburg art galleries and ended up in Radegast Beer Garden.
In the video is the art show “Miniature War in Iraq and now Afghanistan” at the Boiler. The installation is the video documentation of the Iraqi games in play, news materials gathered by the Arabic-speaking research team, and large-format photographic portraits of the miniature figures.

Every 2nd Friday each month, art and photography galleries in Williamsburg stay open late, until 9 pm. Members of Wired New York Meetup Group will visit Williamsburg galleries on Friday, 11 December 2009. More details about the Friday Gallery Crawl is on Meetup.com website.
One day each month, DUMBO’s art galleries stay open late and host receptions and area restaurants and bars often have live music. This happens on the first Thursday – hence the name for the event is First Thursday Gallery Walk.
